I am an assistant professor at SUNY - University at Albany, NY. My work is in applied topology, with a marked categorical approach. I am also interested in the computational side of applied topology, especially in developing algorithms for retrieving invariants. Together with Yossi Bokor Bleile, Jānis Lazovskis, and Bastian Rieck, I am maintaining DONUT, a database of real-world applications of Topological Data Analysis. - I'll participate in the 2024 Fall Southeastern AMS Sectional Meeting in Savannah on October 5-6, and then I'll visit Peter Bubenik at the University of Florida on October 7-9.
- With Justin Curry and Håvard Bakke Bjerkevik, we are organizing the Applied and Computational Topology session at the AMS Sectional Meeting in Albany on October 19-20, 2024. We have some amazing speakers lined up, and there will be many other topology-related sessions, so we warmly encourage you to come!
