I am an assistant professor at SUNY - University at Albany, NY. My work is in applied topology, with a marked categorical approach. I am also interested in the computational side of applied topology, especially in developing algorithms for retrieving invariants. Together with Yossi Bokor Bleile, Jānis Lazovskis, and Bastian Rieck, I am maintaining DONUT, a database of real-world applications of Topological Data Analysis. Please contact us at donut (at) topology (dot) rocks if you have any questions. If you notice an article is missing, please fill out this form.
Here you can take a look at my CV (updated September 2024).
You can contact me at bgiunti (at) albany (dot) edu.
